Was heute als Nine Star Enterprises, Inc. bekannt ist. (dba Nine Star Education & Employment Services) wurde 1976 als breit angelegte Ausbildungseinrichtung gegründet. Die ersten Büros befanden sich auf dem Campus der Alaska Pacific University. Im Dezember 1994 schloss Nine Star die letzten Schritte ab, um ein eigenes Gebäude in der Innenstadt von Anchorage an der 125 West Fifth Avenue in Besitz zu nehmen.

In den letzten Jahren hat Nine Star Niederlassungen an sieben Standorten im gesamten Südosten von Alaska-Mountain View, Midtown, vier Büros im Zentrum von Anchorage und den neuesten Einsatz in Wasilla eingerichtet.

Nine Star hat sich zu einem festen Bestandteil von Alaska entwickelt und bietet Tausenden von Kunden akademische Ausbildung und Unterstützung bei der Beschäftigung. Nine Star Education & Employment Services widmet sich der Entwicklung von Alaskas Arbeitskräften durch qualitativ hochwertige Bildung in den Bereichen Alphabetisierung, Arbeitsbereitschaft und berufliche Entwicklung.
